Job Description
A Technical Support Administrator is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations within an organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support (onsite & remote)
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and printers
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage user accounts (Active Directory, email systems)
- Support Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace
- Monitor ticketing system and resolve incidents within SLA
- Perform system updates, patches, and antivirus management
- Assist with server and network maintenance
- Document issues and solutions
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of:
- Windows 10/11 & basic Windows Server
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Microsoft 365
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk)
- Remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk)
- Basic cybersecurity awareness
- Good communication & customer service skills
