Job Title: Junior Desktop Engineer

Job Brief: We are looking for a motivated Junior Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and optimizing desktop systems, providing exceptional technical support to our users.

Responsibilities:

• Laptop Preparation: Set up and configure laptops for new users.
• Software Installation: Install and update software applications as needed.
• Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
• Active Directory Management: Handle reporting manager changes, phone number changes, and designation changes.
• OS Updates: Ensure operating systems are up-to-date.
• Patch Updates: Apply necessary patches to maintain system security and performance.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and Active Directory management. Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience: Previous experience in desktop support or a related role is a plus.
