Ecommerce Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce Intern to support daily operations across all our ecommerce platforms. This role offers hands-on exposure to marketplace management, inventory coordination, customer experience, and digital commerce strategy.

You will work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of our online stores.

Key Responsibilities
Platform & Listings Management

• Create and update product listings across ecommerce platforms
• Optimize titles, descriptions, images, and keywords
• Ensure content accuracy and brand consistency

Pricing & Promotions

• Assist in updating pricing as per strategy
• Monitor competitor pricing
• Support implementation of discounts and promotional campaigns

Inventory Coordination

• Track stock levels and update inventory across platforms
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams
• Assist in preventing stockouts and overselling

Order Processing

• Monitor incoming orders
• Coordinate dispatch with fulfillment team
• Track shipments and handle returns/refunds

Customer Support

• Respond to customer queries via chat/email
• Resolve basic complaints and escalate complex issues
• Maintain response time and customer satisfaction standards

Daily Operations

• Generate basic sales and performance reports
• Monitor platform health metrics
• Support daily operational problem-solving

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, Flipkart, etc.) preferred
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Willingness to learn and take ownership
