Job Title: Store Manager – Retail (Apparel / Footwear)

Experience: Minimum 3 years (Apparel / Footwear retail mandatory)

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma (preferred)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee daily retail store operations in the apparel or footwear segment. The role involves driving sales, managing store staff, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Handle cash management, billing accuracy, and store security

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive store sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and complaint resolution
  • Analyze sales performance and take corrective actions

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store staff
  • Set performance goals and motivate the team to achieve targets
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and on-the-job coaching

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Manage stock levels, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
  • Ensure effective visual merchandising as per brand guidelines
  • Monitor shrinkage, damages, and loss prevention

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports
  • Coordinate with area managers, warehouse, and HO teams
  • Provide market and customer feedback to management

Key Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in apparel or footwear retail
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs (sales, conversion, ATV, UPT)
  • Good leadership and people-management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, MS Excel, email)
