Job Description:

System & Network Management

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade restaurant IT infrastructure (computers, printers, servers, routers, Wi-Fi, etc.).
  • Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity and secure network access.
  • Monitor data backups, system updates, and antivirus/security tools.

POS & Software Support

  • Manage and support POS (Point of Sale) systems for billing, KOTs, and order management.
  • Provide immediate technical assistance for POS issues to minimize downtime during operations.
  • Coordinate with POS vendors for upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure integration between POS, inventory, and accounting systems.

Hardware & Device Management

  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, and CCTV systems.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of handheld/tablet ordering devices.
  • Monitor AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and coordinate with vendors for repairs/replacements.

Data Security & Compliance

  • Implement data protection protocols to safeguard customer and company information.
  • Regularly update and audit IT systems for compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Manage user access rights, passwords, and system permissions.

Operational Support

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to restaurant staff and management.
  • Train employees on IT systems, POS usage, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Document IT processes, issues, and resolutions.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain IT inventory (licenses, equipment, warranties, consumables).
  • Report IT performance, incidents, and improvement plans to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of IT support experience (hospitality/restaurant industry preferred).
  • Hands-on knowledge of POS systems, networking, Windows/Mac OS, and MS Office.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and customer-service mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
